Fox News host Jeanine Pirro went on the offensive Saturday night against Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and other Democrats — over the allegations that Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted someone more than three decades ago, while he was still in high school.

Sen. Feinstein announced on Thursday that her office had received a letter over the summer from a woman who claimed that Brett Kavanaugh and another student — both high schoolers at the time, supposedly — had locked her in a room and attempted to force themselves on her.

Feinstein said that, out of respect for the victim’s wishes, she was withholding the woman’s name and the details of the incident.

She then said she had turned the letter over to the FBI for investigation.

The FBI, for its part, said that the letter had been added to Kavanaugh’s background file — but that the agency would not be investigating allegations that were 35 years old.

Pirro opened her Fox News show, “Justice with Judge Jeanine,” by saying that, in all her years as a prosecutor and as a judge, she abided by the standard that people were innocent until proven guilty.

In her opinion, the letter — which, at the time Pirro made her statements, was still anonymous and had not been released — is simply a baseless attack and an attempt to prevent Kavanaugh’s confirmation to the Supreme Court from moving forward.

Pirro slammed Feinstein on her program, saying, “Your audacity to destroy and try to destroy a man with impeccable credentials, harm his family, and shift the burden of proof to the accused by alleging one of the most of heinous allegations imaginable shows your complete disregard for truth, justice, and the American way,” as Mediaite and others reported.

Pirro also extended her attack to the rest of the Democratic Party, calling them “demon rats.”

“Dianne, why would you wait to even send it to the FBI? Is it because nothing in you and your pack of demon rats’ — that’s what I said, demon rats, aka Democrats’ — bag of tricks was working against Kavanaugh?”
