Michael Moore just can’t get over President Donald Trump.
After already releasing a movie and a flop of a Broadway play about the president, he is now releasing “Fahrenheit 11/9” on September 21.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter to promote the upcoming film, Moore gave some advice to fellow leftists looking to put a new president in the White House in 2020.
“We need beloved figures running. Say what you want about Trump, but tens of millions watched his show. We need Tom Hanks, Oprah, Michelle Obama,” Moore said when speaking about the future election.
What’s ironic about Moore’s thoughts is that he also blames out-of-touch celebrities for the presidential victory of Donald Trump.
Moore had originally predicted the victory of Trump in July 2016 on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher.”
The audience laughed at him, but the filmmaker insisted celebrities were too out of touch to realize Trump’s connection to voters.
“Michael is one of the few liberals who truly understands the Trump voter. Having been with Michael in lots of places and seen how people react to him, there is literally no one more beloved by working men and women. As his Trump prediction shows, it would be great if, for once, people listened to him before it was too late,” Bill Maher told THR about Moore’s prediction.
Moore also humorously claims in his documentary that people such as Gwen Stefani are responsible for Trump’s victory.
“You hadn’t heard that before, have you?” he says in the film.
While he is still the director of the highest-grossing documentary of all time, his career continues on a steady downward slope.

Moore’s “Fahrenheit 9/11” from 2004 made $222.4 million worldwide, but none of his follow-up projects have come close to matching that success.
His last few films have barely made a dent in the box office, and that’s only likely to continue with this new feature of his.
