While many Hollywood leftists oppose Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and are even calling for his name to be withdrawn from consideration, actress Mia Farrow took things a step further on Sunday.

She decided to target Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas (pictured above right), who has been on the high court since 1991 and is currently the longest serving justice following the retirement of Anthony Kennedy.

“And another thing is painfully clear all over again Clarence Thomas has no business on the Supreme Court. He should resign,” the “Rosemary’s Baby” star (above left) wrote on Twitter.

She has been vocal through her social media accounts about wanting Kavanaugh away from the Supreme Court and for her support for his accusers.

The Thomas dig obviously refers to sexual misconduct allegations infamously made against him in the ’90s.

Thomas was accused of sexual harassment after he was nominated to the Supreme Court in 1991 by then-President George H.W. Bush. Anita Hill was his accuser, and the confirmation process for Thomas was grueling; it was a political circus and still retains that reputation.

The hearings got so bad that the late Andrew Breitbart, who would go on to create his own influential conservative media company, turned away from the Democratic Party.

Thomas himself described the hearings as a “national disgrace.”

“As a black American, it is a high-tech lynching for uppity blacks who in any way deign to think for themselves, to do for themselves, to have different ideas, and it is a message that unless you kowtow to an old order, this is what will happen to you,” Thomas said back then. “You will be lynched, destroyed, caricatured by a committee of the U.S. Senate rather than hung from a tree.”

Mia Farrow, 73, is not the best person to go on an attack against men.

She herself has been accused by her own son, Moses, of coaching sibling Dylan Farrow into pushing false allegations of sexual misconduct against filmmaker Woody Allen.

Two agencies cleared Allen of any wrongdoing when the allegations first surfaced in the ’90s. Farrow was in a relationship with Allen from 1980 to 1992. Allen infamously left her for Soon-Yi Previn, Farrow’s adopted daughter.

Previn was 21 when she began a relationship with Allen.

If Hollywood leftists really want to show support for Kavanaugh’s accusers, drawing comparisons to Clarence Thomas is far from the right move.

In addition, having a controversial figure like Mia Farrow as the messenger is another huge mistake. Both go to show what a circus this Kavanaugh hearing is becoming.
