During Wednesday’s episode of ABC’s “The View,” co-host Joy Behar expressed her hope that President Donald Trump doesn’t live a long life, according to Mediaite.

The ladies of the morning talk show had a heated conversation regarding Trump’s praise of his administration’s handling of the recovery effort in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria last year.

“We got A Pluses for our recent hurricane work in Texas and Florida (and did an unappreciated great job in Puerto Rico, even though an inaccessible island with very poor electricity and a totally incompetent Mayor of San Juan). We are ready for the big one that is coming!” Trump tweeted Wednesday.

Co-host Sunny Hostin dominated most of this conversation, at one point accusing the government of allowing its own citizens to die during Hurricane Maria — and in the months after the storm.

“It’s humiliating, it’s embarrassing for our country, and I don’t think this president cares,” Hostin said heatedly.

“If you’re in Florence’s path and considering riding it out, your president just said that a hurricane response where 3,000 die is his measure of success. Get out of there.”

Behar tried to restart the conversation by pointing to Bob Woodward’s book “Fear: Trump in the White House” as proof that Trump is incapable of telling the truth.

“Fear” came out Tuesday, and is already one of the top-selling books of the year — not just in the politics aisle of the bookstore — but in the entire store.

On Wednesday, Barnes & Noble said, “Fear” has had the “fastest sales for an adult title since Harper Lee’s ‘Go Set a Watchman’ was released in July 2015.”

The bookseller called the pace of sales “phenomenal” and “amazing.”

Behar, meanwhile, labeled the president a “sociopath” who will “never apologize,” musing aloud, “If he lives another 20 years, God forbid. If he lives another 20 years, he could live to 105.”

The show broke for commercials shortly after that — but Behar seemed aware of how her remarks could be taken, Mediaite noted.

She opened the next segment after the commercial break by saying what she meant was that she doesn’t want Trump in office anymore.

“I don’t wish the president ill, I really don’t. I just want him out. I mean sometimes I hear him say things like, ‘I could be president for life,’ and it’s like, ‘no!’ It’s really about that. I would never say something — I didn’t mean that, what I said.”
