Controversial attorney Michael Avenatti, best known for representing porn star Stormy Daniels in her legal case against Donald Trump, has issued a blunt warning to those attempting to discredit his accuser — whom he says he will reveal Wednesday.

This so-called new accuser, suggested Avenatti, supposedly will reveal damning new information about Judge Brett Kavanaugh, the president’s high court nominee.

On Monday night, Avenatti (pictured above, right) — whom CNN’s Chris Cuomo referred to as Trump’s “familiar tormenter” — told Cuomo on his show, “Cuomo Prime Time,” that the woman in question was a witness and a victim of Kavanaugh’s and that she’s “had a number of security clearances issued by the federal government over a number of years.”

He also claims she will publicly come forward within 48 hours, as the Huffington Post reported.

Cuomo asked Avenatti if he was in touch with multiple Kavanaugh accusers.

“At this point it’s clients,” answered Avenatti, seeming to affirm multiple accusers.

“We’re going to make a public disclosure within the next 48 hours of detailed allegations as well as the identity of at least one of my clients, relating to what she witnessed and experienced concerning Brett Kavanaugh and Mark Judge [Kavanaugh’s high school friend], and ultimately we’re going to let the American public decide who is telling the truth.”

After a bit more conversation the lawyer also claimed, “I do not traffic in rumor and nonsense … I’ve been proven right time and time again, and I would not make these accusations lightly.”

He said, “I think that America is going to find her [his witness] credible, exclaiming that he doesn’t understand “the rush to confirm” Kavanaugh.

Cuomo asked the lawyer why he was waiting to bring forth his witness. Avenatti cited security.

“Why wait 48 hours?”

“We have to make sure our ducks are in a row, especially as it relates to security … I don’t think it’s a lot of time to wait, frankly.”

During the interview, Avenatti also pushed back on the Supreme Court nominee’s claims that he couldn’t have sexually assaulted anyone as a teenager because he was a virgin in high school and “for many years thereafter.”

“I think the American people are smarter than this,” Avenatti said about Kavanaugh’s statements. The lawyer later said, “And I don’t believe that America is going to believe what Brett Kavanaugh just stated on Fox News [about his sexual history].”

Later in the interview, he dropped his warning.

“So let this be a warning to Donald Trump, Brett Kavanaugh and other surrogates, including those [on] the Senate Judiciary Committee,” Avenatti said. “I will caution you: Be very, very careful if you launch some smear campaign against my client, because you will ultimately be shown to be a fraud.”
