Leftist host Jimmy Kimmel has had some personal experience with Omarosa Manigault Newman, the fired aide to President Donald Trump who is currently hawking a new book, and it wasn’t pretty.

It was, however, pretty quick.

The ABC late-night host dished to The Daily Beast about his run-in with Manigault Newman back in April 2004, when she came onto the set of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

“Oh, I’ve been thinking about that a lot lately,” Kimmel said, apparently referring to Manigault Newman’s whirlwind media tour to promote her gossipfest memoir, “Unhinged.”

The book is already being panned in reviews.

Kimmel’s producers booked Manigault Newman on the show back in 2004 to chat about her appearance on the first season of the reality TV show “The Apprentice,” starring, of course, Donald Trump.

By sheer coincidence, Kimmel had planned to use a gadget on air that night with “Uncle Frank,” a recurring guest on his show who has since passed away.

“What happened was, my Uncle Frank lied about something,” Kimmel recalled to The Daily Beast.

“And I thought it would be funny to give him a fake lie detector test on the air, something that he thought was real.”

When Manigault Newman saw the gadget lying about, Kimmel says, she bolted from the building.

Upon seeing the lie detector setup, she “decided that we were going to spring it on her,” Kimmel said, “which, if you know anything about taking a polygraph test, that’s not how it works. It takes a long time. There’s no ding and no buzz. It’s a chart that they analyze afterward. So that was preposterous just to start with.”

Kimmel noted that Manigault Newman’s reaction seemed truly unhinged, as he could tell she was visibly upset.

“But she stormed out of there and the show was live, so we had no guest,” he continued. “She was very angry.”

The late-night host also had strong words about the would-be guest’s appearing on his show.

“I didn’t want to have her on the show. The woman — there’s clearly something wrong with her,” he added.

Superman’s weakness is kryptonite. Vampires are afraid of crosses. Gremlins are terrified of water. Manigault Newman’s weakness, which is all too telling, is … lie-detector machines?
