One new grandchild born into the world is cause for joy and cerebration. Two born the same day is double the joy. But three grandchildren delivered on exactly the same day?

That is nothing short of a miracle.

But that’s precisely what Gulf Shores, Alabama, fire Chief Hartly Brokenshaw and his family experienced recently, as news station WKRG reported.

Late last week, both of the chief’s daughters gave birth on the very same day — and with one mom delivering twins, this added up to three new grandbabies in less than 24 hours.

The department posted a note about the amazing day on its Facebook page, with the first note going up on Friday at 1 p.m., announcing to the world the birth of little Olivia Mae.

The next day, the fire department’s Facebook page announced two more babies had also been born on Friday. The post explained that the happy family was expecting twin boys, so it was a surprise when babies Millie and Mason arrived as well (pictured at the top of this article) — as if three babies born on the same day wasn’t surprising enough for everyone.

Facebook commenters shared in the fire chief’s joy (little Olivia Mae is shown in the photo below).

Congratulations to Fire Chief Brokenshaw, he has a new grand child Olivia Mae!
