‘Completely Clueless’: Joe Scarborough Unleashes on Melania Trump in MSNBC Meltdown (Watch)

If you want muddled hyperbole and a whole lot of misplaced righteous anger with your morning coffee, MSNBC is the place to be.

On that network’s “Morning Joe” show Tuesday morning, co-host Joe Scarborough took aim at first lady Melania Trump — choosing to ignore her positive message for kids and families and instead hurl personal insults at her.

The back story: On Monday, Melania Trump spoke before a crowd in Rockville, Maryland, at a cyberbullying prevention summit. The first lady’s speech, which highlighted her Be Best campaign, was targeting harmful online behavior. She noted, “Most children are more aware of the benefits and pitfalls of social media than some adults.”

Well, according to Joe Scarborough — the self-appointed judge of the entire Trump family and all conservatives in general — there are two explanations for the first lady’s comments when juxtaposed against her husband’s frequent Twitter usage, usually to explain policy or call out detractors and wrongdoers.

After airing a montage of Mrs. Trump’s comments with reports of some of the president’s worst tweets, Scarborough snarked about the first lady, “Is she completely clueless, or trolling the man that she’s married to?”

He finished with “I kind of think it’s the latter.”

Joe Scarborough can’t seem to understand that the first lady has her own goals and her own agenda independent of the president during her time in the White House.

And she’s working hard on behalf of kids everywhere.

That’s what true strength is, among other brave actions. It’s not sitting behind a table with the Beltway elite each morning, spewing more of the same diatribes with no room for compromise, understanding, or — heaven forbid — acknowledgement of the positive actions of a beloved first lady.
