Ben Shapiro, editor of The Daily Wire, has hilariously dismantled mainstream media objections to a viral satire video that CRTV’s Allie Beth Stuckey did to poke fun at Democratic congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez — by doing one of his own.

The satirical interview came out yesterday — and is still garnering plenty of attention and plenty of reactions.

(And why not?)

Yet mainstream media types were (and still are) outraged that conservatives would “dare” to meddle with their Democrat darling’s public image by making fun of her. Culture is their domain, after all.

Never mind that the Democratic socialist from New York, who is 28, believes in everything that’s free, free, free — with wild abandon. (Even late-night host Trevor Noah pressed her on that when she recently appeared on his show.)

Never mind that she’s a political newbie who seems to have trouble with some numbers now and then.

Never mind that … well, you get the idea.

In terms of the earlier satirical video, Buzzfeed actually contacted Facebook in an attempt to suppress Stuckey’s video about Ocasio-Cortez.

Probably not surprisingly, Facebook said it did not violate its community standards.

But Ben Shapiro has now flipped the script by repeating Stuckey’s “interview” style, to hilarious effect.

Shapiro exposed the media’s phony complaints — after all, they’ve been satirizing conservatives in similar ways on Comedy Central for years — simply and hysterically, and with a few choice edits.

Oh, and don’t miss the amusing facial antics, either.

Those were pretty well done, too.
