Chris Pratt is one of the few actors who is unafraid to profess his love for God and the importance of faith in his life.

He has spoken openly about his faith and his religious ways a number of times.

The “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Jurassic World” star did so again on Sunday night’s broadcast of The Teen Choice Awards. He and Bryce Dallas Howard won the award for Choice Summer Movie Actors.

The two starred in “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” together this summer.

“I want to thank God. I always do that when I’m up on a big platform, in front of a bunch of young faces. I say, ‘I love God.’ That’s my thing. And you should too,” Pratt said during the acceptance speech (he was joined by Howard via video).

Sharing one’s faith openly is not something that’s easy to do in leftist Hollywood, as many artists have revealed to LifeZette — but Pratt has managed to do so while also becoming one of the few actors who can still sell tickets to just about anything he stars in these days.

This summer’s “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” earned over $409 million dollars domestically, while the new “Avengers” earned nearly $680 million.

Pratt has also headlined such hits as the original “Jurassic World,” the first two “Guardians of the Galaxy” movies, “Passengers,” and “The Magnificent Seven.”

His lowest-grossing movie since 2014’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” is “The Magnificent Seven,” which still earned over $90 million domestically.

Pratt spreads his faith in a positive way and stays away from politics. Both of those facts certainly have a lot to do with his popularity today.
