President Donald Trump had breakfast this morning with Sauli Niinistö, the president of Finland and the host of the historic summit between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki.

The high stakes Trump-Putin meeting, together with translators, was scheduled to last 90 minutes but apparently went another 30 minutes beyond that.

“President Donald J. Trump and President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation will meet on July 16, 2018, in Helsinki, Finland. The two leaders will discuss relations between the United States and Russia and a range of national security issues,” the White House said in a statement ahead of time.

After their meeting, the two men are speaking to the press. Don’t miss our livestream below as the leaders address the media this morning, scheduled now to begin at about 11 a.m. Eastern.
