Oregon U.S. congressional candidate Mark Roberts, an independent, referred to America’s gracious and elegant first lady Melania Trump as a prostitute.

He said this in a tweeted response to conservative pundit Charlie Kirk on Monday.

Roberts actually asked if she “works by the hour.”

Amazingly, he then appended the hashtags “hoebag” and “thinkdirty” to his message.

His sick tweet followed one by Kirk in which the Turning Point USA founder noted that Melania Trump’s cadre of staff is much smaller than that of former first lady Michelle Obama.

House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) called on Twitter’s CEO, Jack Dorsey, to address the matter of the Roberts posting.

Laura Ingraham, host of Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” and a co-founder of LifeZette, also brought the tweet to the attention of the social media giant.

But in a Tuesday morning tweet, candidate Mark Roberts managed to crow about Twitter’s supposed response.

In it, he inaccurately implied that the First Amendment applies to private platforms — thus enabling him to spew whatever garbage he chooses to at will.

Melania Trump — who in May of this year unveiled her “Be Best” program, which is aimed at discouraging bullying and encouraging social and emotional well-being among schoolchildren — is not the only recipient of candidate Roberts’ distinctly unprofessional interactions on social media.

A few select samples of Roberts’ unhinged tweetstorm from the past 24 hours appear below.

On his website, Mark Roberts says the following about himself, among other things: “In the late ’80s I was on ‘The Dating Game’ as one of the three bachelors. I didn’t get picked but I got some good answers in.”

He said he also “sent in an audition tape for ‘Full Metal Jacket’ and was called back for an audition but wasn’t picked and wasn’t sure what character if any I was being auditioned for.”

He also describes himself as an “expert windsurfer,” adding, “I can ride the bumps but don’t expect acrobatics, my body is too beat up. This summer I’ll be busy so I probably won’t get out much.”
