Some Democrats and Never-Trumpers aren’t laughing.
Instead, they’re darn near celebrating the news that former Obama official Eric Holder — who served as attorney general — is considering tossing his hat in the ring for the 2020 presidential election.
“I’m thinking about it, and what I’ve said is that I’d make a determination sometime early next year,” Holder told Stephen Colbert on Monday night on CBS’ “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”
“My focus, really, now is on 2018, the midterms and trying to make sure that Democrats take back the Senate, take back the House, and that we do well, importantly, at the state level.”
Here’s a smattering of the reactions that have popped up on social media since Holder made his intentions known.

Don’t know him. But on tv, Eric Holder comes across as having the personality of a wet sock.
Then again, I’d literally vote for a wet sock, over Trump. https://t.co/4JSmm04c4k— Ana Navarro (@ananavarro) July 24, 2018
Not feeling it!

Let me guess. Obama was ok with Eric Holder describing his job as AG was to be Obama’s “wingman.” No political bias there. ?
