Robbery task force detectives on Thursday night arrested 30-year-old Kino Jimenez, who is suspected of attacking a group of teenage boys at a San Antonio Whataburger on July 4, multiple outlets reported on Friday morning.
The Universal City Police Department took Jimenez into custody without incident from his home in Universal City, Texas.
San Antonio Police Department officials said the suspect will be charged with theft from person, a state felony, as KSAT — a television station in San Antonio — reported.
In a video that quickly went viral earlier this week, Jimenez is seen verbally assaulting a trio of 16-year-old boys in the fast-food restaurant.
The video — which includes some very foul language on his part, including a racial slur — shows him viciously throwing a drink in the boys’ faces and taking Hunter Richard’s MAGA hat, reportedly tearing out some of Richard’s hair in the process.
Jimenez was released on bail on Friday — and apparently told a reporter the MAGA hat had had the same effect on him as a Ku Klux Klan hood.
(Warning: Strong language appears in the video below.)
Liberal tolerance as Hispanic #KinoJimenez steals #MAGA hat off the head of a 16yo then throws a drink in his face
Typical leftist, bullying against only those who can't fight back.#MadMaxine #AntifaGoon https://t.co/5lIVkjgXTD

That kid and his friends who were assaulted in the restaurant may have not fought back right then and there, but make no mistake, he WILL fight back in the polling booth in 2 years. And his friends too. #KinoJimenez just created life long anti-democrats. #thanksforthevotes

Liberals are really donating to the man who attacked a 16 year old Trump Supporter? This is unbelievable! So it okay to attack and assault young people if they support the president?
They claim he is a victim of witch hunt. Please tell me this is fake. pic.twitter.com/8Aky6ablVD— Terrence K. Williams (@w_terrence) July 6, 2018
#CNN coverup blocking #KinoJimenez story and #WalkAway story.
Democracy dies in the dark and some news organizations are trying hard to coverup the facts. https://t.co/40Yp1iYVOw
