Betty Alexander, an 85-year-old from South Bend, Indiana, has been working on a special project after suffering a broken hip recently and spending time recovering.

She has quilted an American flag for President Donald Trump — and now she’s looking for a way to get it to him.

Alexander said she’s been quilting for years. “I just watched my mother do it,” she told the South Bend Tribune.

Alexander has already created quilts for all her children and grandchildren, and she asked for special heavenly guidance on the next recipient of her latest creation.

She received her answer.

“When I was thinking, ‘Who’s this quilt going to be for?’ the Holy Spirit just told me it should be for President Trump.”

Alexander’s quilt is sized for a queen bed. “But he won’t use it for his bed,” she told the Tribune. “It’s just for show.”

This kind lady is looking for a way to ship the quilt to the White House. She doesn’t want any money, but she wishes for something deeper from her gift.

“I haven’t made a dime on any of the ones I’ve made. I just want to make sure [the president] sees it,” she explained.

Donald Trump is a big defender of the American flag, even fighting city officials back in 2014 for the right to fly the flag over the Trump National Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes, California — two years before he was elected president.

As of 2016, the flag was still proudly flying over the golf course. (See a video on the issue, above.)

Alexander, meanwhile, says she keeps active and goes to the gym three times a week. “I’m a busy lady,” she told the Tribune. “I’m not going to sit around and think about things all day. What I can do, I’m going to do.”

Oh, and she also attended Bible school — at the tender age of 69.

“I love Donald Trump,” she said. “I believe his mom probably made quilts.”
