Is it possible for Hollywood leftists to be any more predictable than they are right now?
Social media was a-flurry on Monday afternoon with memes and posts poking fun at the fact that anti-Trumpers would be ripping their hair out mere minutes after President Donald Trump announced his pick, Brett Kavanaugh, for the Supreme Court.
At a White House press conference on Monday night at 9 p.m., Trump nominated Kavanaugh, 53, a staunch conservative, to the nation’s highest court.
Kavanaugh, born in D.C., is married with two daughters.
He’s dedicated his entire life to defending the Constitution.

And right on cue, some of Hollywood’s holier-than-thou celebrities put their thumbs to their phones and began sounding the fearmongering alarms not long after the president mentioned Kavanaugh’s name.
Some began jumping on the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision and the potential of its reversal — while others reduced themselves to discussions of conspiracy theories.
With Donald Trump's pick for #SCOTUS threatening to reverse #RoevWade, it's more important than ever to fight back and enshrine abortion and access to contraception. Join us and @VoteChoice for a rally to #SaveRoe in Union Square tomorrow at 4:30 PM: https://t.co/o0u4qgCgU8

It’s official. Trump, who is now under investigation for obstruction of justice and conspiring with an enemy to destroy Democracy, has selected the judges who could rule on whether he can be forced to testify, be indicted or pardon himself. Autocracy here we come. VOTE!!!

Others on the Left seemed to be promoting the idea that Democrats should in no way work with Trump’s Supreme Court nominee.
No Dem should meet w/ Kavanaugh! The McConnell rule should apply, it cannot be used for Obama only.

And here are a few other late-breaking reactions — which in so many ways are not surprising at all:
OK Ladies and Gentlemen who care for and respect ladies, it is official. The move back to Medieval Values, Shariah Law even, where old, bitter men get to tell women what is best for their bodies, lives, and well being is as done a deal as this is Twitter. Unless we say NO! NO!

Brett Kavanaugh, in just on just one case, attacked women’s rights, healthcare, and immigration.
He is the trifecta of terrible, and he must never sit on the Supreme Court.
