Professor Randa Jarrar of California State University in Fresno has earned a reputation for making outlandish statements. After the death of beloved former first lady Barbara Bush last April, for example, Jarrar shockingly celebrated by calling Mrs. Bush a “witch” and “amazingly racist.”

“I will never be fired,” Jarrar boasted on Twitter after the incident, also bragging about being a “tenured professor” and falsely claiming she earned $100,000 per year.

Jarrar’s actual annual salary is $85,104, a Fresno State spokesman told Campus Reform — a pretty good paycheck for someone who abuses the memory of a respected first lady and uses foul language on social media.

“A professor with tenure does not have blanket protection to say and do what they wish,” Joseph Castro, the university’s president, said after Jarrar’s outrageous comments sparked outrage. “We are all held accountable for our actions.”

Nonetheless, this individual is not only still teaching college students — but she is ratcheting up the race-based talk as well.

The professor recently lashed out at a poem, published by The Nation, a left-leaning publication, that some readers feel is insensitive to minorities and the homeless, Campus Reform noted Thursday.

The poem, “How-To” by Anders Carlson-Wee, reads in part: “Don’t say homeless, they know you is,” and, “If you’re crippled don’t flaunt it. Let ’em think they’re good enough Christians to notice.”

Jarrar asked the editor who published it to resign. Soon after, that editor and another editor issued a lengthy apology for the poem.

But that wasn’t enough for Jarrar, who went on to demand via Twitter that “white editors resign.” (Jarrar’s Twitter account is private, but Campus Reform obtained several of her tweets.)

“At some point, all of us in the literary community must DEMAND that white editors resign. It’s time to STEP DOWN and hand over the positions of power,” she tweeted. “We don’t have to wait for them to f*** up. The fact that they hold these positions is f*** up [sic] enough.”

This is what California taxpayers are supporting — whether they want to or not.

Jarrar, who calls herself “an award-winning novelist, short story writer, essayist, and translator,” has called for violence in the past in a video laced with profanities. She said she was “buying guns” and because the other side was doing “stupid s***,” she was going to do some “stupid s***” herself.

Jarrar has also called Trump supporters “f****** stupid.”

The professor openly said she is inspired by “hatred for the man” and can’t stand the “white hetero-patriarchy.”

This is what California taxpayers are supporting — whether they want to or not.

An online petition demanding Jarrar’s firing from the university has been signed by some 90,000 people so far.
