President Donald Trump rebuked the “13 angry Democrats in charge of the Russian Witch Hunt” and urged them to “just wait ’till the Courts get to see your un-revealed Conflicts of Interest” in a series of tweets Monday.

Trump has long criticized special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into allegations of collusion between Trump campaign officials and Russian interests during the 2016 U.S. presidential election. The Republican majority members of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence also released a report in April claiming to have found “no evidence” of collusion.

“The Russia Witch Hunt is rapidly losing credibility,” Trump tweeted. “House Intelligence Committee found No Collusion, Coordination or anything else with Russia. So now the Probe says OK, what else is there? How about Obstruction for a made up, phony crime. There is no O, it’s called Fighting Back.”

Although the House committee’s GOP members found “no evidence” of Russian collusion, the committee’s Democratic members vowed to continue the investigation. But as evidence showing collusion proved to be increasingly evasive, Democrats and Mueller’s investigators shifted their focus onto analyzing whether or not Trump obstructed justice by firing former FBI Director James Comey in May 2017, shortly before Mueller’s appointment.

Trump and his officials offered a variety of reasons for why he fired Comey, one of which was because Comey refused to tell the American people Trump wasn’t a subject of the counterintelligence investigation into Russian collusion. Comey testified before Congress that he told the president three times that he wasn’t a subject of the investigation.

If given the chance to interview Trump, Mueller’s investigators plan to ask the president about his reasons behind firing Comey, along with other topics regarding potential obstruction of justice.

But the president and many GOP lawmakers have accused some of Mueller’s current and former team members of harboring anti-Trump bias while investigating what Trump referred to Monday as a “made up, phony crime.” At least 13 of Mueller’s team members have donated money to Democratic candidates, including 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama.

“The 13 Angry Democrats in charge of the Russian Witch Hunt are starting to find out that there is a Court System in place that actually protects people from injustice … and just wait ’till the Courts get to see your un-revealed Conflicts of Interest!”

Mueller’s team suffered a setback Friday when a federal judge rebuked them for their treatment of former Trump campaign Chairman Paul Manafort, who faces unrelated charges of bank fraud as a result of Mueller’s scrutiny.

“You don’t really care about Mr. Manafort’s bank fraud,” Judge T.S. Ellis III told Mueller prosecutor Michael Dreeben, as he accused the special counsel of pursuing Manafort in the hope it would lead to “prosecution or impeachment” of Trump.

“That’s what you’re really interested in,” Ellis added.

Trump also called out Lisa Page, the FBI official who exchanged anti-Trump texts with Peter Strzok. Both FBI officials were involved in Comey’s investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server to conduct official business as secretary of state and were initially involved in the Russian collusion investigation. The New York Times reported Friday that Page is resigning from the FBI.

“Lisa Page, who may hold the record for the most Emails in the shortest period of time (to her Lover, Peter S), and attorney Baker, are out at the FBI as part of the Probers getting caught? Why is Peter S still there? What a total mess. Our Country has to get back to Business!” Trump tweeted.

Ultimately, Trump accused Democrats of prolonging the Russian collusion investigation in order to cast a shadow on Republicans’ 2018 midterm election chances.

“Is this Phony Witch Hunt going to go on even longer so it wrongfully impacts the Mid-Term Elections, which is what the Democrats always intended?” Trump asked. “Republicans better get tough and smart before it is too late!”

Ellis also noted during his exchange with the Mueller attorneys that “what we don’t want in this country is, we don’t want anyone with unfettered power. We don’t want federal judges with unfettered power. We don’t want elected officials with unfettered power. We don’t want anybody, including the president of the United States, nobody to have unfettered power.”
