It seems Jimmy Kimmel is a little obsessed with the president these days. He seems incapable of avoiding anything related to Donald Trump for more than 24 hours.

The late-night comedian even joked that he would be filing a federal complaint against the president and his family.

Kimmel said Wednesday night that the Trump family takes “the America thing very seriously.” The “America thing” to which Kimmel refers is the president’s smart, proactive stance of putting the country first when it comes to trade, of trying to bring jobs back to this country, of being tougher about border security, and of generally watching this country’s interests like a hawk.

The comedian then rolled out some merchandise from the Trump website store — golf hat, coffee mug, blanket, duffle bag, and feeding bib for a baby — and said the items were made in China, Thailand and Peru.

He also brought out a Trump head bandana, which he claimed did not have any tags to reveal where it was made.

Kimmel believed he had himself a “gotcha” moment, since goods imported into the U.S. are required to have a country of origin marking.

“I’ll just file an official complaint and let them sort it out,” Kimmel said.

Fines for the violation could run up to $500,000.

“This could be very expensive,” Kimmel claimed. “Not to mention embarrassing. Are they even capable of shame? I mean, Trump’s whole platform is about American companies — his company isn’t even supporting America!”

The Trump Store Twitter account already replied to Kimmel’s comments. It thanked him for the advertising.
