“The View” co-host Joy Behar has finally apologized for insulting Vice President Mike Pence and faithful people everywhere.

“It’s one thing to talk to Jesus,” said Behar on live TV in early February about Pence’s praying. “It’s another thing when Jesus talks to you.”

She had also said anyone who hears the voice of God suffers from “mental illness.”

Not surprisingly, she had no such criticisms for the liberal Oprah Winfrey, who said she would run for president only if God told her to do so.

Behar’s comments led to the Media Research Center’s launch of a campaign to hold the television host accountable for what they called “anti-Christian bigotry.”

Pence also appeared on Monday’s episode of Fox News’ “Hannity” and addressed the comments from Behar. Pence revealed he had talked to Behar on the phone, but he believed that she needed to make a public apology.

“I give Joy Behar a lot of credit. She picked up the phone. She called me. She was very sincere, and she apologized and one of the things my faith teaches me is grace — forgive as you’ve been forgiven,” Pence said. “I’m still encouraging her, to use the forum of that program or some other public forum, to apologize to tens of millions of Americans who were equally offended.”

No matter how far Left she is, Behar revealed she agreed with the conservative Pence.

She said during the latest episode of “The View” on Tuesday, “I think Vice President Pence is right. I was raised to respect everyone’s religious faith and I fell short of that.”

She added, “I sincerely apologize for what I said.”
