Celebrities typically don’t have the best reactions to violent acts such as the recent horrific high school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

There’s usually a lot of hemming and hawing; there’s money thrown at certain causes and marches; and there are poorly formed opinions being pushed out in rather aggressive ways.

One of the worst responses to the Florida shooting now comes from a man who was once all about the laughs — but now laughing seems to be the last thing on his mind.

Actor Jim Carrey shared a painting this week on Twitter showing President Donald Trump golfing on a course littered with dead children.

“It’s President’s Day and Chief Little Hands has been busy tweeting from his golf resort, a chip shot away from the latest bloody school shooting. He was hoping to play a few holes while grieving families are busy digging them. I support @cameron_kasky #neveragain,” tweeted the “Dumb and Dumber” star.

Cameron Kasky is one of the survivors of the shooting in Florida — and he’s been outspoken about gun laws.

In the painting, President Trump is pictured saying, “What’s wrong with these kids? Didn’t they hear me yell FORE?”

Jim Carrey has long held anti-gun beliefs, and he’s gone on tirades before — but this tweet is by far the most tasteless way yet that he’s expressed his opinion.

And this is the same man who put out a “comedy” video a few years ago in which he blamed the late Charlton Heston for gun violence.

Reducing himself to arguing with and bullying a long-dead fellow actor was a new low for Carrey at the time, but now he’s found an even more despicable way of getting his opinion across.

And, like most liberal celebrities, Carrey has little more than theatrics on his side. He’s not specifically talking about any of the president’s policies or proposed policies — and his argument for gun laws has thus far been dancing around in a goofy outfit to make fun of Charlton Heston and sharing a vile painting of dead children at the feet of the president.
