President Donald Trump is delivering his initial State of the Union address on Tuesday evening in Washington, D.C., before a joint session of Congress in the House of Representatives chamber in the U.S. Capitol.

The speech begins just after 9 p.m.

The 45th president, who took office a year ago, is expected to talk primarily about the American economy, national security, the federal budget, health care issues, and his plans for fixing immigration problems in this country.
