Val Kilmer Admits He Had Cancer, After Public Denials

'Tombstone' actor says he is now in the process of 'healing' ... 'I don't sound my normal self yet'

After months of speculation and the actor’s denials, Val Kimer has confirmed he had cancer.

Back in 2015, the former “Batman” star was spotted at UCLA Medical Center looking gaunt. A-lister Michael Douglas announced to the press in November that Kilmer was battling throat cancer.

But Kilmer fought back, claiming Douglas was “misinformed.”

However, the actor decided to reveal his personal health issues during a Reddit “Ask Me Anything” session.

Kilmer replied, “He was probably trying to help me, ’cause press probably asked where I was these days, and I did have a healing of cancer, but my tongue is still swollen although healing all the time. Because I don’t sound my normal self yet, people think I may still be under the weather.”
