The eldest daughter of President-Elect Donald Trump and her young children were harassed by an airline passenger Thursday on a JetBlue flight out of New York, in a shameful display of uncontrolled anger and liberal rudeness.

The man, whom witnesses described as an “out-of-control passenger,” reportedly berated the 35-year-old Ivanka Trump and “jeered” at her children, according to TMZ.

“Your father is ruining the country,” the JetBlue passenger told her, the entertainment site reported. The man then shouted as she sat there quietly, “Why is she on our flight? She should be riding private.”

He did this while apparently holding his own child in his arms.

A man later identified by TMZ as the husband of the harassing passenger — who was eventually booted from the plane — wrote on Twitter: “Ivanka and Jared at JFK T5, flying commercial. My husband chasing them down to harass them.”

Then the hashtag followed: #banalityofevil. That Twitter account was later deleted, the Daily Mail reported.

This is not the way citizens of a democratic nation — something liberals and gay rights activists are always saying they believe in — conduct themselves after an election loss. Badgering any mother and her children, no matter who they are, is wrong and over-the-line. This man embarrassed himself, his child, and his cause. One can only imagine the uproar if this had been Michelle Obama and her two daughters, Sasha and Malia, who had been accosted. That is a highly unlikely scenario, however — they don’t fly commercial.

Another passenger on the flight out of John F. Kennedy International Airport told TMZ that Ivanka Trump “ignored the guy and tried distracting her kids with crayons” before the man was escorted off the flight.

As he was taken away, the man reportedly yelled, “You’re kicking me off for expressing my opinion?”

JetBlue released a statement to TMZ that said the decision to remove a customer from a flight was never “taken lightly.” The airline also reportedly offered the man a seat on a different flight.

A spokeswoman for the U.S. Secret Service told TMZ that agents were with Ivanka Trump and her children on the flight, and that it was the airline’s decision to remove the other passenger.

Here is some advice for all those who still cannot accept the decision of the American voters and the Electoral College: Put on your big-boy pants. It is time to accept the election results and move on — and allow the incoming administration and their families the courtesy, respect, and safety you would want for your own family.
