It sounds as much like a “three men walk into a room” joke as it does the star-studded lineup for the newest season of ABC’s hit show “Dancing with the Stars.” The newly released lineup includes disgraced Olympic athlete Ryan Lochte, ’90s rapper Vanilla Ice, and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

“I’m dedicated to helping #veterans however possible, and I’m going to use @dancingabc as a stage to do that. #DWTS.”

Perry, who mounted a short-lived, ill-fated 2016 bid for president, will follow in the footsteps of fellow Texan politician and former House Majority Leader Tom Delay. Delay appeared on the show in 2009, four years after resigning in disgrace from his position in 2005.

Delay was partnered with model and dancer Cheryl Burke — but was forced to drop out of most of the season because of stress fractures in his feet.

The lineup for Season 23 was revealed on “Good Morning America” Tuesday.

Perry said on Twitter he’d be using the stage as a platform for his dedication to veterans.

“I’m dedicated to helping #veterans however possible, and I’m going to use @dancingabc as a stage to do that. #DWTS,” he tweeted Tuesday.

Aside from Perry, Lotche, and Vanilla Ice, confirmed participants for the new season include: six-time Dancing With the Stars champion Julianne Hough, Laurie Hernandez, model-turned-talk-show-host Amber Rose, “Brady Bunch” star Maureen McCormick, “Little Women LA” star Terra Jolé, country singer Jana Kramer, ex-Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson, and race car driver James Hinchcliffe, according to ET.

The show premieres Monday, Sept. 12.
