Former Speaker John Boehner is apparently best friends with Donald Trump, describing the two as “texting buddies.” His feelings about another GOP candidate, however, are not so flattering.

During an appearance at Stanford University Wednesday, Boehner called Sen. Ted Cruz “Lucifer in the flesh,” according to The Stanford Daily.

“I have Democrat friends and Republican friends. I get along with almost everyone, but I have never worked with a more miserable son of a bitch in my life,” Boehner added.

Boehner dislikes Cruz so much he said he would vote for “crooked Hillary” over the senator in a general election.

Despite Boehner’s past criticism of the Tea Party and being severely disliked by Trump supporters, he would vote for Trump against Clinton in a general election. This flip-flop of his support for the GOP serves as a clue that he cannot be trusted. Do you think he’ll cry if Cruz wins the Oval?

The GOP front-runner shouldn’t want to be associated with the former speaker, who did nothing to unite the party or defund Obamacare and Planned Parenthood.

The best the thing for Trump to do right now is block Boehner’s number and find a new golfing buddy.
