By now you’ve sat down and made sure every last tax form was filled out properly. (As quickly as everyone wants to get their filing done each year, people are willing to take a little extra time to make sure they get back every last penny they can.)

Some people deduct student loan interest, business travel expenses, and charitable contributions. Few people, however, deduct hermit crab food and beer. But according to the IRS, it’s possible (depending on the circumstances, of course — did you think otherwise?).
