A second undercover Planned Parenthood video that emerged Tuesday morning shows a doctor for the nation’s largest abortion provider haggling over the price of fetal body parts.

The video, the second in a three-part series produced by the Center for Medical Progress, shows Planned Parenthood Dr. Mary Gatter discussing the sale of body parts with a man and woman posing as representatives of the Fetal Tissue Procurement Co. during a meeting on Feb. 6.

Lila Rose, president of the pro-life advocacy group Live Action, slammed the organization’s conduct during an interview on “The Laura Ingraham Show.”

“They’re discussing a negotiation,” she told Ingraham.

Gatter talks about using “less crunchy” abortion techniques to ensure that fetuses emerge intact, better preserving organs. But she warns that the practice could violate Planned Parenthood’s “protocols” if patients are misled about the procedure.

In discussing price, Gatter says in the undercover video that money is not the primary motivator.

At another point, Gatter jokes, “I want a Lamborginhi.”

“We’re not in it for the money, we don’t want to be in the position of being accused of selling tissue and stuff like that,” she says in the video. “On the other hand, there are costs associated with the use of our space.”

But Gatter is vague about those costs. At one point, she throws out a figure of $75 “per specimen” but does not object when one of the undercover “buyers” suggests $100.

Rose noted that Planned Parenthood’s own annual report indicates that other health-related services it offers are on the decline.

“This is an abortion chain. They commit 320,000 abortions a year,” she said.

Ingraham called it “blood money.”

“Killing is very profitable,” Ingraham said. “Let’s face it. Killing for [Planned Parenthood] is extremely profitable, both for the money they are getting from the taxpayers … and they are getting money from killing the babies.”

Burned by the first video released by the Center for American Progress undercover video earlier this month, Planned Parenthood had warned that more “sting” videos likely would surface.

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has vigorously voiced her adoration for the organization in the past. In 2009, Clinton was awarded Planned Parenthood’s Margaret Sanger Award, so named after the founder of the organization. “I admire Margaret Sanger enormously, her courage, her tenacity, her vision,” said Clinton in her acceptance speech. “I am really in awe of her, there are a lot of lessons we can learn from her life.”

“Every day, they are getting $1.4 million of taxpayer (funds) and that’s fungible,” Rose said. “This is horrific at every level.”

Those comments drew harsh criticism from pundits who recalled that Sanger was a self-proclaimed eugenicist who in October 1921 wrote that “the campaign for birth control is not merely of eugenic value, but is practically identical in ideal with the final aim of eugenics.” Sanger also wrote of the importance of “sterilization of the insane and feeble minded” in her book, “The Pivot of Civilization,” written in 1922.

The modern organization is trying to push back on the onslaught of outrage generated by the videos. In a letter to a congressional committee, Planned Parenthood accused the Center for Medical Progress of engaging in “a campaign of corporate espionage” against the nonprofit organization.

The organization has good reason to be concerned as outrage builds around these shocking videos. Rose said Tuesday that Planned Parenthood gets $540.6 million a year in government funding and that its claims that the money does not pay for abortions are bogus.

“Every day, they are getting $1.4 million of taxpayer (funds) and that’s fungible,” she said. “This is horrific at every level.”
