WALNUT CREEK, CA – On the evening of November 20th, a group of approximately 80 thieves donning ski masks and brandishing crowbars looted a Nordstrom in Walnut Creek.

Witnesses said that dozens of suspects had stormed the Bay Area Nordstrom around 8:46 p.m. At the same time, the outlet was still open for business and loaded approximately 25 vehicles staged outside the store up with stolen goods.

The thievery, which can be best described as a flash mob-style of looting, was commenced in under a minute. Local reports regarding the incident noted that three Nordstrom employees were injured as a result of the massive looting.

Video of the suspects fleeing the store and loading up the various vehicles were captured, shedding light on just how quickly the incident unfolded.

While a majority of the suspects were able to flee the scene, authorities did take into custody three suspects believed to be part of the heist – with at least two of the suspects being taken into custody at gunpoint.
