Supreme Court Strikes Down Abortion Law

On Monday, the highest court in the land ruled against a 2013 Texas law that had required abortion clinics to meet the same standards as other medical facilities. The court effectively ruled that states cannot impose any meaningful restrictions on abortion. The 5-3 ruling also means women can now legally be exposed to less safe conditions in abortion clinics.
