‘Jacob’s New Dress’ Cut from Curriculum

A North Carolina public school district has trimmed “Jacob’s New Dress” from its first-grade curriculum. Elementary schools are meant to “teach writing, reading and arithmetic, not to encourage boys to wear dresses,” according to Tami Fitzgerald of the NC Values Coalition.
