This is way worse than we could have ever imagined.
In a newly surfaced interview, Ben Affleck is shown acting inappropriately toward a female reporter, who was clearly uncomfortable. The video above is from a Sunday morning press junket to promote Affleck’s film “Jersey Girl.” The reporter he is speaking to is Canadian TV presenter Anne-Marie Losique.
During the interview, Affleck is shown pulling Losique onto his lap, propositioning her to do the show topless, and complimenting her “titties.” The whole time, she is shown nervously laughing, clearly unsure about what to do.
On Wednesday, Affleck said he was “saddened and angered that a man who I worked with used his position of power to intimidate, sexually harass and manipulate many women over the decades.” This, of course, in reference to the allegations of sexual misconduct against Harvey Weinstein.
Perhaps Affleck should do some internal reflection about his behavior from the past as well.
