Right now, the crash is presumed to be an accident, according to NBC New York. The train that crashed was No. 1614 and it was running on the Pascack Valley Line.

Several passengers on the train took to Twitter after the crash, saying they felt “lucky to be alive.”

“Nearby Jersey City Medical Center said it had sent several trauma and emergency units to the scene, which was swarming with and first responders within minutes of the crash,” reports NBC New York.

New Jersey Transit has shut down all service in and out of the Hoboken station. The Federal Railroad Administration and The National Transportation Safety Board will both be investigating the crash.
