There’s been a wave of voters changing their political tune from liberal Hillary backers to Trump supporters following the Orlando, Florida terror attack that left more than 100 people dead or injured.

Some voters took to Reddit to speak out about their newfound interest in supporting Trump following the deadliest shooting in American history last week. One user voiced concerns that “Hillary and Sanders will just roll over and put out the welcome mat for more Islamic influence and terror. With Trump we at least stand a chance.”

“I am a gay man and this disgusting incident has persuaded me to join the Trump train!” Snowduckling wrote. “I think it’s horrible that adherents of Islam are allowed to spread their hate without any criticism and with tons of censorship. What we have clearly isn’t working and we need a change.”

Snowduckling and other Reddit users expressed frustration with the left for using the attack as a political vehicle to condemn gun owners more than the very real threat of radical jihadists and homegrown terrorism.

“Yesterday I learned that the left doesn’t give a f*** about me, they won’t do anything because it’s not PC and might hurt someone’s feelings,” Snowduckling wrote. “It’s about time that I jumped ship. Personally, I know that I’d rather be denied service from a bakery than be riddled with bullets during a hate crime performed by a crazy radical Islamic terrorist.”

Trump’s response to the shooting stood in stark contrast to that of Hillary Clinton and President Obama — and voters took note.

“I’ve been waxing and waning, but when Obama doesn’t cite Islam as the cause behind the Florida shooting and news sources try to edit that fact out …” user cteavin wrote. “Trump 2016!”

The billionaire businessman put all political correctness aside in his speech addressing national security.

“Hillary Clinton can never claim to be a friend of the gay community as long as she continues to support immigration policies that bring Islamic extremists to our country who suppress women, gays, and anyone who doesn’t share their views,” Trump said during a press conference in New Hampshire Monday.

A gay man whose friend died in the shooting explained why he’s ready to not only vote for Trump but also volunteer for the presumptive Republican nominee’s campaign.

“I’m shaken, I’m a mess, I’m broken, but I’ve never been more determined for a leader to actually take charge and make a change, how do i get started. How do I help this man lead us into a safer country?” user “4yyyy” wrote.
