A sinkhole. People are making fun of President Donald Trump for a sinkhole that opened up outside Mar-a-Lago, the president’s private oceanfront estate in Palm Beach, Florida, on Monday.
Is it any surprise some people would stoop so ridiculously, stupendously low?

You know who these people are: They’re the usual liberal and left-wing comedians and actors at work today who will say anything, and do anything, to try to tarnish our president — especially while he’s in the midst of his historic first foreign trip.
Yes, let this latest lunacy “sink in” for a moment.
The sinkhole is said to be 4-by-4-foot. A West Palm Beach utility crew is investigating, city spokeswoman Kathleen Walter told the Sun-Sentinel. “Crews are conducting exploratory digging and will make any necessary repairs,” she said.

Sinkholes are common. The United States Geological Survey has said that roughly 20 percent of land in the U.S. is susceptible to them — and the most damage from sinkholes tends to occur in Florida, Texas, Alabama, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania.
Naturally the internet trolls couldn’t resist mockery. “Has anyone ever rooted for a sinkhole before?” wrote one person on Twitter.
Here’s what Jimmy Kimmel — clearly digging for anything he could grasp at in terms of poking fun at President Trump — had to say about it:
“Meanwhile, back at what Trump calls his ‘Winter White House,’ Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach — this is weird. A sinkhole is forming. This is a 4-by-4-foot hole in the earth right at the entrance to Mar-a-Lago. Why, nobody knows. Oh, wait … We do — this is Satan’s way of saying the door is always open. I don’t want you to worry, though. I really don’t.”
