Michael Moore: Trump ‘Will Not Last Four Years’

Michael Moore has made no attempt to alter the hysterical rhetoric he’s been using for a number of months now — and as Donald J. Trump heads to his inauguration today, Moore appears even more apoplectic.

Well before Inauguration Day, the documentary filmmaker and author said he intended to “disrupt” Trump’s inauguration, had endlessly questioned the validity of the presidential election results, and even promoted a group, DisruptJ20, which said its goal on Inauguration Day was to force Trump’s inauguration “behind closed doors.” That is, “if Trump is to be inaugurated at all,” the group said on its website.

Moore showed up at a protest Thursday night outside of Trump’s New York City International Hotel, and there, he said of Trump, “A malignant and a narcissist and a psychopath is in the Oval Office.” He called the time surrounding the inauguration “a very dangerous moment.”

Yet those weren’t his most extreme words. They came later when he said, “A little bit of pain, a little bit of discomfort but a lot of work on our part will stop this man. He will not last the four years. It’s a dangerous combination — a narcissist and a public official. Because it’s all about what’s in it for me — me me me me me me me me. And when they think like that, that’s when they break the law and that’s when he’ll go down.”

Ironically, most of those words could be lifted and applied fittingly to Democrat Hillary Clinton — but we digress. What's troubling about Moore is not the fact that he is constantly protesting Trump, but the decibel of his rhetoric.

In Moore's words, it is breaking the law that will drive Trump out of office — but the rest of his speech suggests Trump will be forced out with "a lot of work" by him (Moore) and others.

If a conservative public figure ever spoke about Barack Obama the way Moore has been speaking about Donald Trump, the media would be labeling that person as downright dangerous. There would likely be legal trouble and even a watchful eye from the Secret Service.

Saying you're going to "disrupt" the inauguration, threatening that a president will not "make it four years," and tweeting to groups that say they will force inaugurations behind closed doors — this is not the normal behavior of someone who disagrees with the agenda of a president. These are the ramblings of an opportunist, one who would be considered dangerous if he were not safely embraced and surrounded by the Left.

The "star-studded" protest at which Moore spoke was live streamed to left-wing site Moveon.org — and was attended by people such as New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio [3], Alec Baldwin, Cher, and Rosie Perez.
