Larry the Cable Guy is always good for some laughs.

But he wasn’t kidding when he shared his thoughts on who should be president.

“If you pick somebody, they want to beat you up, they want to give you death threats.”

“I know who I’m not voting for. I’ll give you initials — Hillary Clinton.” He added: “Hillary will be the end of the country, that’s all I got to say.”

Chatting on “Fox & Friends,” the comedian, who stars in a new Netflix special, “We’ve Been Thinking,” with Jeff Foxworthy, went on to explain, “This election’s so crazy. I want a change. I like Trump.”

He acknowledged, “Some of the things he says — he’s outrageous.”

The “Blue Collar TV” comedian then put it in more down-to-earth terms, saying, “The choice is, let’s see: Do I want to poop my pants or do I want somebody else to poop my pants? I think I’ll go with pooping my own pants — so that ought to give you an answer right there.”

After the interview started spreading on social media, the Cable Guy was attacked on Twitter, with death threats and wisecracks denouncing him and his opinions.

Later, he did a SiriusXM Raw Dog Comedy radio show interview and said, “I gotta tell you — here’s the thing that stinks about it. It’s not like it used to be. You used to be able say, ‘You know what? I like Ronald Reagan.’ Somebody will go, ‘No, I don’t think so.'”

But now, he says, “If you pick somebody, they want to beat you up, they want to give you death threats. Ever since social media came along, everybody’s a jerk, everybody’s an idiot. If you say, ‘I kinda like Trump and I kinda like some of the things and I think I’m going to vote for Trump,’ [the reaction is] ‘Oh, you’re a racist!’ You’re always a racist — no matter what. It’s so frustrating.”

Larry also weighed in on San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who has dominated the national conversation for days now for refusing to stand during the national anthem in protest of America’s “oppression of black people and people of color.”

Larry pointed out Kaepernick had lost his starting job and that might have something to do with it. “You think he’d be sick of sitting and he’d have to stand for something every now and then.’

In his latest post, Larry thanked fans for standing by him.
