After much speculation, at least two performers have been confirmed for Donald Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20.

Singer Jackie Evancho, who is just 16, revealed she will be singing the national anthem at the event.

Evancho said, “It’s going to awesome” and she is “excited.” The Trump Inauguration Twitter page also confirmed the performance on Wednesday. The tweet was accompanied by a video of the 16-year-old opera singer performing.

Andrea Bocelli will perform a duet with the young singer, TMZ reported. Evancho’s mother, Lisa, revealed the news to the outlet after much speculation about the Trump team courting Bocelli. However, Bocelli’s involvement has not been confirmed by Trump’s team.

Evancho was the runner-up on the fifth season of the popular TV show “America’s Got Talent” and performed for President Obama twice, as well as for President-Elect Trump at a charity event when she was only 11. She sang with Bocelli last year in Italy as well.

She released a holiday-themed album this year, “Someday at Christmas,” and is expected to drop an original album next year, despite still being in high school.

Evancho has released six albums, three of which made the Billboard 200 Top 10, one that went platinum, and another that went gold. She was only 10 when she performed on “America’s Got Talent” and has performed the national anthem before — early in her career for her hometown Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team.

Though still incredibly young, Evancho’s classical sensibilities and mature songs have won her high praise. She released a holiday-themed album this year, “Someday at Christmas,” and is expected to drop an original album next year, despite still being in high school.

Evancho also has a sibling who publicly came out as transgender last year and whom Evancho has said she fully supports. Evancho’s family connection will be an odd dilemma for many on the Left to spin, who want the president-elect to be spun as the anti-social agenda conservative they think he is.

Bocelli, 58, is much more of an old hand when it comes to music, but his sensibilities are similar to Evancho’s classical style. The Italian-born singer has been permanently blind since the age of 12, but has released 15 studio albums and sold over 80 million records worldwide. He has been nominated for four Grammy awards, including Best New Artist in 1999, and has won a Golden Globe and been nominated for an Academy Award for his duet with Celine Dion on the song “The Prayer” for the film, “Quest for Camelot.”

A biopic of the singer, starring Antonio Banderas, is currently being filmed in Rome.

Previous singers of the national anthem at inaugurations include Aretha Franklin and Beyoncé — both of whom performed at Obama’s first and second inaugurations. The choice of both Evancho and Bocelli, given their classical backgrounds, suggest the mood for the night will be far brighter and livelier than many Trump protesters and detractors may desire.
