5.) The Warriors are here to stay. The Golden State Warriors have been dominant the past three years. In 2015, they won the championship. In 2016, they set the regular-season record for games won. In 2017, they added Kevin Durant and went 16-1 in the playoffs; their only loss was when the Cavs set the finals record for points scored in a half and three-pointers scored in a single game.

Looking ahead, the Warriors’ future appears only brighter. They have four all-stars, all in their 20s, who have repeatedly said they do not want to be traded or go to any other team. If anything, this season was a disappointment. They had added Durant to their team and achieved fewer wins than the previous season.

This team has revolutionized basketball with how well they can shoot three-pointers — and they are in the conversation to be the best team of all time. The league should be scared, because as LeBron said after last night’s loss, this great Warriors team is “built to last.”
