Many celebrities appear to believe the sky is falling and that President Donald Trump’s Thursday press conference was proof of that. Few could resist the urge to jump on Twitter and express from their ivory towers just how worried they were for the country.

“Up until an hour ago, the scariest thing I’d ever watched was Psycho. #TrumpPresser,” tweeted “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling.

Actor Alec Baldwin all but guaranteed his new material for the March 4th episode of “Saturday Night Live” when he tweeted, “This guy is so wired in front of the press. Like he’s gonna blow a rod. Imagine what he’s like behind closed doors.”

Baldwin may not want to talk too much about an aggressive attitude toward the press. The actor has a history of assaulting members of the media and using homophobic slurs to describe them.

For her part, the always middle-of-the-road Rosie O’Donnell used the hashtag #worsthumanalive when describing President Trump, which seems a tad bit dramatic for those aware of the wide world full of very bad people doing very bad things and dictators using violence to take power. O’Donnell has bought into Trump hysteria and she’s likely to never come back from it.

Filmmaker Michael Moore posted the video of Trump’s press conference and said, “Do NOT watch this. It will force you to quit your job & devote your every day to removing this lunatic from office.”

Moore had actually been tweeting about the press conference all day. He claimed it was keeping him up at night and in what was probably the overstatement of the week he tweeted, “That was the most disturbing thing I’ve ever seen on TV.”

At this point, vocal anti-Trump celebrities have fully committed to their Trump hysteria and their willingness to sell it to the masses. Even if you don’t support the president, you’d be hard pressed to think he was the worst person alive or that his press conference was the most disturbing thing you’d ever seen on television.

And if you did, you’re likely a liberal celebrity who stumped for the corrupt Hillary Clinton and have now cocooned yourself to your liberal echo chamber — where a level head is just not possible.
