Recent history has shown that bias against creative conservatives within Hollywood is stronger than ever. While many artists choose to keep their beliefs secret as more and more people spread divisiveness and hate, there are a select few individuals who keep the culture wars as balanced as they can.

Combating the constant noise and yammering on social media from people like Rosie O’Donnell and Michael Moore are some expected conservative celebrities — and a few surprises. These people have humorously and sharply called out the mainstream media and extremists who are trying to further the cultural gap between right and left.

Here is a look at some of the most active conservative celebrities on Twitter right now.

1.) James Woods. “Videodrome” and “Vampires” actor Woods said in 2013 it was unlikely he’d ever work again in Hollywood. Why? The 70-year-old actor has turned his Twitter account into a platform for fighting the media, extreme liberals, and fellow Hollywood stars on a constant basis. His Twitter feed is a must read for anyone looking for a refreshing take on the news from an artist who doesn’t follow the expected political talking points of Tinseltown.

Woods’ prediction about his career wasn’t entirely wrong, either. His last major roles were in 2013, in the action movie “White House Down,” starring Channing Tatum, and a stint on the acclaimed Showtime series “Ray Donovan.” Since then, he’s mostly done voice work and independent film.

While we may miss him on the big screen, Woods is still providing plenty of entertainment by rocking the social media world with his clever tweets and sharp and funny perspective on the culture. (go to page 2 to continue reading) [lz_pagination]
