Donald Trump called for the restoration of law, order, and justice in the United States to combat Hillary Clinton’s “corruption” and uphold the foundations that once made this country great during a rally Wednesday in Miami, Florida.

The GOP nominee noted the “terrible tragedy” that occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning when two Iowa police officers were gunned down in cold blood while sitting in their squad cars. Following on the heels of a brutal summer for law enforcement officers, Trump sent his thoughts and prayers to the families of the “outstanding” officers.

“The spread of political agendas into the Justice Department … is one of the saddest things that has happened to our country. But with your vote you can beat the system — the rigged system — and deliver justice.”

“An attack on our police is an attack on all of us. Law enforcement is the line separating civilization from total chaos. You have to remember that,” Trump said before reciting statistics from the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund revealing that firearm-related police deaths are up 48 percent this year.

“And there have been 14 ambush-style attacks this year alone. Never had anything like this,” Trump added. “And what it is — is a lack of respect for our nation. It’s a lack of respect for our leadership. To all the great men and women of law enforcement, I want you to know we’re with you, we support you, and we will stand by you. We will restore law, order, and justice in America. Justice.”

Justice, Trump said, is not as highly valued in the U.S. as it used to be. And the perfect examples of this include the latest developments in scandal-ridden “Crooked Hillary’s” saga.

“This is what is running for office. Honestly, she should be ashamed of herself,” Trump said of Clinton as he referred to the FBI’s bombshell announcement last week that it had reopened its investigation into Clinton’s use of a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state.

“If Hillary Clinton were to be elected it would create an unprecedented and protracted constitutional crisis. Haven’t we just been through a lot with the Clintons?” Trump said. “The spread of political agendas into the Justice Department — there’s never been a thing like this that has happened in our country’s history — is one of the saddest things that has happened to our country. But with your vote you can beat the system — the rigged system — and deliver justice.”

Saying that, “real change also means restoring honesty to our government,” Trump urged the people of Florida to make their voices known and to hold the political Establishment accountable for its failures and corruption.

“We’re on the cusp of an incredible historical change that transfers power from the failed political Establishment and returns that power to our families, communities, and citizens — to you,” Trump said. “We are going in the wrong direction. If we keep going in this direction we won’t have a country any longer.”

After making his case for renegotiating bad trade deals, repealing and replacing Obamacare, bringing jobs back to U.S. shores, securing the country’s borders, and strengthening national security, Trump said he knew “America is tired of waiting” and could tell that “the moment is now” for change.

“All we have to do is stop believing in our failed politicians and start believing in each other and in our country,” Trump said. “Clinton wants us to think small, wants us to believe things can’t change, and wants our lives to revolve around Washington, D.C. … I’m asking you to dream big, to push for bold change, and to believe in a movement powered by the people and by their love for this great country.”
