Donald Trump promised to bring back “the jobs that have been stolen from you” and reverse the disastrous economic policies espoused by President Obama and the Clintons during his final stop in North Carolina on Monday.

With just one day left until Election Day, the GOP nominee delivered a sobering message directly to the people gathered at the J.S. Dorton Arena in Raleigh as he asked them to consider what was at stake in this “historic” election. Saying that he has heard North Carolinian workers’ cries of frustration amid an ever-shrinking economy, Trump promised to champion their interests and bring the jobs back to American shores if he wins tomorrow.

“So you have one magnificent chance to beat the corrupt system that you’re witnessing today and to deliver justice for every forgotten man and woman and child in this nation. Do not let this opportunity slip away.”

“We’re living through the greatest jobs theft in the history of our world. There’s never been anything happened to a country like has been happening to the United States. Our jobs are fleeing, our companies are being taken — and leaving,” Trump said. “A Trump administration will stop the jobs from leaving America and we will stop the jobs from leaving North Carolina.”

Trump assured frustrated North Carolinians that he cared about their practical concerns in a way that Hillary Clinton — with all her corruption and her stark disconnect from everyday Americans — never could. With the most recent polls showing Trump and Clinton in a dead heat to win the crucial battleground state, the GOP nominee urged North Carolinians to vote with their future interests in mind.

“We’re going to bring back the jobs that have been stolen from you. We’re going to bring back the wealth that has been taken from our country,” Trump promised. “We’re going to bring back the miners and the factory workers and the steel workers. We’re going to put them back to work.”

Noting that North Carolina has lost “half” of its manufacturing jobs since Bill Clinton signed NAFTA, Trump lambasted Obama and the “corrupt Clintons” for continuing their support for disastrous trade deals.

“The economic policies of Bill and Hillary Clinton have destroyed manufacturing in your state and throughout the entire country,” Trump said. “So you have one magnificent chance to beat the corrupt system that you’re witnessing today and to deliver justice for every forgotten man and woman and child in this nation. Do not let this opportunity slip away.”

In a somber and reflective moment, Trump spoke of the irrevocable tragedy that would occur should Clinton win on Election Day and receive a pass to continue her failed policies.

“So we don’t want to blow it. We don’t want to waste it. Go vote. Go vote, because believe me, if we don’t win, all of us — honestly — we’ve all wasted our time. I’ll be honest, because nothing is going to happen,” Trump said. “They may say good things about us as a movement — won’t mean a damn thing, folks. You’ve got to go out, we’ve got to vote, and we’ve got to win.”

“Our failed political Establishment has delivered nothing but poverty, nothing but problems, nothing but losses. Nothing but losses. We don’t win anymore as a country. We’re going to start winning again,” Trump added. “I’m asking you to dream big, because with your vote we are just one day away from the change you have been waiting for your entire life.”
