Donald Trump on Wednesday ripped Hillary Clinton as a “world-class liar” who has used her power and prestige to make millions, saying “she gets rich making you poor.”

“Hillary Clinton may be the most corrupt person ever to seek the presidency of the United States,” he said.

In a fierce speech that cataloged a slew of Clinton’s lies, exaggerations, and blunders, Trump mocked her campaign slogan: “‘I’m with her.’ You know what my response to that is?  I’m with you: the American people. She thinks it’s all about her. I know it’s all about you — I know it’s all about making America great again for all Americans. For all Americans.”

As he detailed the ways in which Hillary and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, enriched themselves through their powerful political connections, Trump declared that the United States “lost its way when we stopped putting the American people really first.”

“We got here because we switched from a policy of Americanism — focusing on what’s good for America’s middle class — to a policy of globalism, focusing on how to make money for large corporations who can move their wealth and workers to foreign countries, all to the detriment of the American worker and the American economy. We reward companies for offshoring, and we punish companies for doing business in America and keeping our workers employed. They get punished!” Trump said.

Speaking in Manhattan and reading from a teleprompter, the New York billionaire warned that the former secretary of state “should not be president under any circumstances” and ripped her on everything from a destabilized Middle East to the attack in Benghazi, Libya, to her long-simmering scandal involving her use of a home-brew server to store emails during her tenure at the State Department.

Trump had intended to give the speech a week ago but shifted gears to respond to the shooting that killed 49 people the previous weekend at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. When he finally did turn his attention to Clinton on Wednesday, he went after her in starkly personal terms, painting her not just as a flawed candidate but as a dishonest person.

“Hillary Clinton may be the most corrupt person ever to seek the presidency of the United States,” he said. Calling her a “world-class liar,” he detailed her ongoing email scandal and a lie she told about coming under sniper fire in Bosnia in the 1990s — or, as he said, “her phony landing in Bosnia where she said she was under attack but the attack turned out to be young girls handing her flowers.”

“Look, this was one of the beauts, a total and self-serving lie,” Trump said of Clinton’s Bosnia recollection. “Brian Williams’ career was destroyed for saying less, just remember that,” he added, referring to the NBC news anchor who lied about his war experiences and resigned in disgrace.

Trump pointed to the priorities he would pursue if elected to rebuild the military, cut taxes, repeal and replace Obamacare, and stand up to trade cheaters, among other things. But at its heart, the speech was a brutal take-down of Clinton. He co-opted the language of Clinton’s Democratic primary opponent, Bernie Sanders — even quoting the senator form Vermont in a direct appeal to his voters.

“But she doesn’t have the temperament or, as Bernie Sanders said very strongly, the judgment to be president. She does not have the judgment,” Trump said. “She believes she’s entitled to the office … That’s why we’re asking Bernie Sanders voters to join our movement, so that together, we can fix the system for all Americans.”

Trump also appealed directly to female and gay voters, depicting Clinton as a phony champion of both groups because of her support for foreign regimes that repress human rights. He said she wants to bring in people who believe women should be enslaved and gays should be killed.

Trump hit Clinton on several of her biggest vulnerabilities:

Immigration
Trump noted that Clinton has vowed to go even further that President Obama in shielding illegal immigrants from deportation.

“Hillary Clinton has put forth the most radical immigration platform in the history of the United States,” he said.

The result of a Clinton presidency would be “totally open borders” that would hurt black and Hispanic Americans by driving down wages, Trump said. He read from a letter sent to his campaign by a Hispanic woman whose son died at the hands of an illegal immigrant.

Trump also hammered Clinton for her intention to expand on Obama’s plan to increase refugees from war-torn Syria. Beyond the security concerns, Trump said, relocating refugees from halfway around the world is prohibitively expensive.

“For the amount of money Hillary Clinton would like to spend on refugees, we could rebuild every inner city in America,” he said.

Clinton’s Ethics
Trump blasted Clinton for earning $21.6 million from “secret speeches” to Wall Street bankers, a reference to her refusal to release transcripts from those addresses.

“Hillary Clinton has perfected the politics of personal profit and even theft,” he aid. “She ran the State Department like her own personal hedge fund, doing favors for oppressive regimes and many others and really many, many others, in exchange for cash. Pure and simple, folks.”

Clinton and her husband, Bill, together have earned $153 million from lobbyists, CEOs and foreign governments.

“They totally own her, and that will never, ever change,” Trump said.

Trump also tied in the Clinton Foundation, mentioning that Hillary failed to disclosed 1,000 donations to the charity during her tenure as secretary of state. Trump adroitly used the small island nation of Brunei to tie together several of Clinton’s biggest negatives — noting that the Sultan of Brunei was a major donor to the Clinton Foundation, stood to gain from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and had a terrible track record of human rights abuses, specifically against women and gays.

Trump quoted heavily from the book “Clinton Cash,” noting that the United States during her tenure approved the transfer of 20 percent of U.S. uranium holdings to Russia after nine investors arranged for $145 million to the foundation.

Trump said a telecommunications firm facing sanctions for providing technology to Iran paid Bill Clinton $750,000 for a single speech.

“The Clintons got their cash,” he said. “The telecom company escaped all sanctions.”

Foreign Policy
Trump tied Clinton to every foreign policy failure of the Obama presidency. He said she left Ambassador Chris Stevens “helpless to die” in the Benghazi attack and then falsely blamed the attack on a obscure internet video.

“The Hillary Clinton foreign policy has cost America thousands of lives and trillions and trillions of dollars and unleashed ISIS across the world,” he said. “No secretary of state has been more wrong more often and in more places than Hillary Clinton.”

Trump struck a more humble tone than usual and contrasted it with Clinton.

“Her campaign slogan is ‘I’m with her.’ You know what my response is to that? I’m with you, the American people,” he said. “She think’s it’s all about her. I know it’s all about you.”
