Trump took to Jimmy Fallon’s “Tonight Show” on Monday night for a mock interview for the presidency. The GOP front-runner wasn’t his usual fiery self, but he had some fun and the appearance worked for him.

Overall, the questions were simple and straightforward, as if Trump was applying for a position at an entry-level job. Actually, maybe even less extensive than that.

When Fallon asked Trump what his greatest strengths were, he shocked many audience members and viewers by answering: “I think, believe it or not, bringing people together … A lot of people would say it’s the exact opposite, but I really unify people. I’ve always gotten along with people. I’ll get along with Democrats, with Republicans, with liberals, with conservatives. That’s something we need in this country.”

Of course, some of Trump’s well-known antics were on display. Fallon asked Trump to tell him a little bit about himself, and in true Donald fashion, he replied, “Well, I’m an extraordinarily handsome person. I have a beautiful head of hair,” adding, “I was always a good student and I always worked hard.”

Just in case anyone was worried that Trump wouldn’t be interested in downsizing his living quarters and relocating to the White House he said, “I love the White House.” When asked if media attention is something he would be comfortable with Trump, while shaking his head, jokingly answered, “Not at all. I’d be very very uncomfortable with it.”

Finally, no Trump interview would be complete without Trump’s popular campaign slogan. When Fallon asked the billionaire businessman why he wanted the job, Trump answered, “Because, I want to make America great again. It’s very simple. That’s the simplest answer.”

The interview was yet another media win for Trump. Check out some of the most memorable wins and misses from politicians’ past late-night television appearances.
