Leftist billionaire George Soros continues to spend his fortune interfering with local American elections — this time targeting a Maricopa County, Arizona, prosecutor.

The globalist hedge fund manager is the money behind the Arizona Safety & Justice PAC, founded less than a month ago with the sole purpose influencing the race for Maricopa County attorney and unseating Republican incumbent Bill Montgomery.

In the last year, Soros has given nearly $4 million in support of Democratic candidates in at least nine district attorney races across the country.

“I am a political junkie, and I was unaware of any significant opposition to Montgomery,” pollster Mike O’Neil told the Associated Press after being told about the committee’s existence.

And indeed, there is no significant opposition to Montgomery from the good people of Maricopa County themselves. The latest campaign finance figures show that Montgomery’s Democratic challenger Diego Rodriguez has raised only $13,000, compared to Montgomery’s $300,000.

Were there actual opposition to Montgomery, Soros would not need to spend a part of his fortune trying to unseat him. “I am actually kind of angry that he thinks he can come into Maricopa County where he doesn’t live and try to influence public safety in the country’s fourth-largest county,” Montgomery told the AP.

Of course, going into places in which he does not live and trying to influence policy is George Soros’ modus operandi. The globalist ghoul has already poured hundreds of thousands of dollars into Arizona trying to fight outspoken Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s re-election bid.

To that end, Soros created the Maricopa Strong PAC, which, like Arizona Safety & Justice, is designed with the express intent of making it appear as if the opposition to Arpaio’s campaign is local and organic — as opposed to the nefarious designs of a shadowy, foreign globalist billionaire.

Montgomery is just the latest attorney to find himself in Soros’ crosshairs. In the last year, Soros has given nearly $4 million in support of Democratic candidates in at least nine district attorney races across the country.
