Putting All Their Eggs in the Racist Basket

The recently released lineup of speakers for the Democratic National Convention highlights that despite increasing social unrest, Democrats have no plans to temper their divisive race rhetoric.

The provisional lineup suggests that the Democrats’ entire strategy to defeat Trump is based on convincing the ignorant that Trump and the GOP are racist (and, of course, homophobic and misogynistic to boot).

Clinton will reportedly share a stage with the mothers of Black Lives Matter icons Trayvon Martin and Mike Brown. Martin was shot while assaulting an overzealous Hispanic community watch officer — whom the mainstream media disgracefully maintained was “white” solely in order to sustain the false narrative about “racist” America.

If the presence of Martin’s mother is pure political opportunism — which indicates the Democrats plan to continue to foster anti-white sentiment among ethnic minorities as part of their grand campaign strategy — the presence of Brown’s mother is astonishing.

Despite the persistence of the “hands up, don’t shoot” myth, multiple investigations have confirmed that Brown was a petty criminal who was shot while attempting to murder a police officer.

That the Black Lives Matter movement — and evidently the Democratic Party — regards Brown as some kind of martyr only underscores the false foundation on which their worldview rests. That the Democrats and Clinton campaign thought inviting the mother of an attempted cop-killer to speak — as the country faces an epidemic of cop-killings influenced in part by Democratic rhetoric — is truly despicable.

Clinton herself gave the country a preview of the racially divisive rhetoric sure to be a mainstay of her campaign when she addressed the NAACP on Monday. In true Democratic fashion, Clinton effectively blamed “white privilege” and racist police for the recent string of cop killings that have shaken the nation.

Despite offering the obligatory condemnation of cop-killing, Clinton pivoted almost immediately to spouting the very same false myths which inspired those cop-killings to begin with. “We cannot rest until we root out implicit bias and stop the killings of African-Americans,” Clinton said.

“Let’s admit it, there is clear evidence that African-Americans are disproportionately killed in police incidents compared to any other group,” she asserted. But as has been revealed in study after study and in article after article, those killings are not disproportionate when one accounts for the fact that blacks are disproportionately responsible for murder and other violent crime in America.

Not only are America’s police departments institutionally racist, according to Clinton, so too are its schools. Clinton said the country must dismantle “the school-to-prison pipeline that starts in school and diverts too many African-American kids out of school and into the criminal justice system, instead of giving them the education they deserve to have.”

But just as the stop-and-frisk policy so loathed by the Democrats is in reality “stop-question-and-frisk,” the “school-to-prison pipeline” the Democrats so love to mention is in reality a broken-home-to-school-to-prison pipeline.

Black kids aren’t expelled or suspended disproportionately from schools because schools are racist. They are expelled or suspended disproportionately from schools because they are disproportionately raised in broken homes where they fail to learn the difference between right and wrong, respect for how their actions affect others, and respect for authority. Indeed, these are the exact same reasons why blacks make up a disproportionate segment of the country’s incarcerated adult population.

But hardly content to merely assert that Republicans are racist against blacks, the Democrats will also imply that Republicans hate Hispanics too. A keynote speech on the first day of the DNC will be delivered by Astrid Silva, an illegal alien and DREAMer activist who came to America when she was four years old.

Silva’s presence is no doubt to remind loyal Democrats of the GOP’s seething hatred of the Latino community. Of course, what this biased narrative eagerly ignores is the fact that it’s not the color of Silva’s skin nor the language she speaks with which Republicans take issue, but the manner in which she arrived in the country.
