Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus dubbed Hillary Clinton the “risky candidate” who is “too risky for this country” during an interview that aired Sunday with John Dickerson on CBS’ “Face the Nation.”

Priebus called his party’s presidential nominee, Donald Trump, a “change agent” who will help steer the country away from the “tried and tested” policies of Clinton that have failed the nation. When Dickerson asked Priebus if Trump is going to win the election come Nov. 8, Priebus responded without hesitation.

“When it comes down to risk in this country, Hillary’s been tested and she’s failed. She’s the risky candidate.”

“Yeah, he is going to win, and he’s going to win because I think people in this country have had enough and he’s the change agent,” Priebus responded. “When it comes down to risk in this country, Hillary’s been tested and she’s failed. She’s the risky candidate.”

Priebus proceeded to outline a brief list of some of Clinton’s most prominent and corrupt “failures,” including the uranium deal which gave Russia 20 percent of the world’s uranium, her pocketing of thousands of dollars from her egregiously priced speeches, the “mess” she left in Iraq, and more.

“What I’m saying is she was tried and tested. She failed. She’s too risky for this country. That’s why she’s going to lose,” Priebus concluded.

The RNC chairman continued to highlight the “media implosion” Trump faces every day — when the pundits and politicians pounce on anything and everything they can to discredit him while promoting their own darling candidate.

“I think if you’re Donald Trump, and if you see the barrage and media implosion on every single thing this guy does, no matter what it is. He eats cornflakes in the morning, and CNN or another cable news show, MSNBC, is talking about it 24 hours a day,” Priebus said, adding, “If you look at Hillary Clinton, what she’s gotten away with on this email scandal, when you have General Cartwright going to potentially prison for doing one-tenth of her — ” before Dickerson interjected.

With the deck stacked against Trump, Priebus argued the American people will not believe blindly everything the media and Clinton’s cronies dangle in front of them. The former secretary of state’s record speaks for itself, the RNC boss said.

“This morning, RNC Chairman Reince Priebus joined CBS’s John Dickerson on ‘Face the Nation’ to layout why Hillary Clinton is the risky choice,” Steve Guest, RNC deputy press secretary, said in a statement. “With a failed record with Russia, mishandling of classified information, years of corruption and pay-to-play, Hillary Clinton has been tried, tested, and fallen short.”
