A new fad has emboldened the political correctness police to target any views or statements they find triggering. Self-righteous, self-appointed PC officers are now issuing physical business card-like notices to the politically incorrect and essentially ticket them for exposing their “privilege.”

The “Privilege Cards,” created and distributed by Casa Girl online, are sold in stacks of 10 for $5.00. With these tokens, the enlightened few may “check” anyone in their life with this “direct yet non-aggressive” card, as the website states. Though the cards sold out in December, they appear to have been restocked for 2017.

“All one can do when reading about ‘check your privilege cards’ is to first laugh, but then, sadly, to be reminded of the fact that some of our neighbors live almost completely within a cultural Marxist bubble.”

“Uh-oh! Your privilege is showing!” the card reads on one side. The other side bluntly informs anyone who has been carded that they received the reproach “because your privilege just allowed you to make a comment that others cannot agree or relate to.”

Each card demands that the offender “check your privilege” with the following boxes: white, socioeconomic, Christian, male, heterosexual, able-bodied, and citizen. If those options prove insufficient, the card includes a blank space “for other privileges.”

So, if someone happens by birth to be a white, male, legal citizen of the United States of America, he may as well never open his mouth in Casa Girl’s world.

“All one can do when reading about ‘check your privilege cards’ is to first laugh, but then, sadly, to be reminded of the fact that some of our neighbors live almost completely within a cultural Marxist bubble, in which they see not individuals, but ‘representatives’ of ‘oppressor’ and ‘oppressed’ groups,” Dr. John Fonte, a senior fellow and director of the Center for American Common Culture at the Hudson Institute, told LifeZette in an email.

“They certainly do not see fellow American citizens who ‘share common values,'” Fonte added.

According to the Casa Girl website, 100 percent of the cards’ profits will go to the Brooklyn-based pro-immigrant organization Atlas DIY.

Casa Girl’s Brooklyn-based creator describes herself as “just a girl living in BK, working full-time, and making stuff part-time. My name is Fabiola and I go by FAB for obvious reasons.”

Other products offered on the website include a “2016 Gal Cal Planned Parenthood Calendar,” Beyoncé wrapping paper, and a vinyl sticker sporting six gravestones depicting the deaths of “crippling student debt,” “gender roles,” “haters,” “the male ego,” “the glass ceiling,” and “white privilege.”
