New York College Gives Housing Priority to Gender-Fluid Students

The New School, a famed Manhattan bastion of radical leftism, is giving priority housing selection to transgendered and gender-fluid students.

According to the New School website, the April 24 housing selection is only for gender-inclusive housing selection and students who want to live in groups or “special-interest communities/collectives.”

“Residents will be able to actively impact those who are within their spheres of influence regarding issues of bias, discrimination, and social justice.”

“Gender-inclusive housing is based on the notion that there are more than two genders — in fact, an infinite number,” The New School website says. “Providing gender-inclusive housing, as opposed to co-ed housing, allows for more inclusiveness and room for diverse identities.”

Other students with priority choice for housing include those who wish to live in “special-interest communities/collectives” — pre-existing communities/collectives built on mutual interests.

One of these options is the radical “Exploring Social Justice” collective, which takes up multiple floors of the school’s newest, state-of-the-art dorm building, Kerrey Hall.

“The Exploring Social Justice Collective will allow the opportunity for learning about social justice foundations, privilege and oppression, being an ally, race, class, gender, sexual orientation, ability, and other identities and how they intersect at The New School,” reads the collective’s description.

“Residents will be able to actively impact those who are within their spheres of influence regarding issues of bias, discrimination, and social justice and through leadership service and other programs, serve the cause of social justice,” it says.

Other collectives include the “Sustainability” collective — which promotes environmental activism and “green” initiatives — as well as “The New Global Village” collective, which promotes the globalist, anti-American ideology of “global citizenship.”

The New School was founded in 1919 by radical, far-left professors, some formerly of Columbia University who left that institution after refusing to take a loyalty oath to the U.S. government. In the 1930s, the New School worked to help radical leftist professors from Europe immigrate to the United States, including Frankfurt School theorist Erich Fromm.

It is hardly surprising, then, that such an institution would favor the “gender-fluid” and radical activists, while the rest of The New School’s students have to wait to pick up the housing-option scraps.
